Blogging Zoom Bringing The Man Down

How many times have you gone to Digg to see how your story that was Dugg is doing to only find out you are on page 2356 and the top Digg of the day is a one sentence submission pointing to a YouTube video of a guy picking his nose titled “The Biggest Booger Ever”

Trying to compete when the dice are loaded is just impossible. One of the things I found when I started Bu.bulicio.us was unless you had an established name it was a serious uphill climb. These days not only are you competing with other bloggers but also Joomla, PhpNuke, PostNuke and traditional websites and not even mentioning traditional media like CNN.com and MSNBC.com.

Many of nights I would think wouldn’t it be great if there was a place just like this but just for bloggers where it would be bloggers against the world. This is how Blogging Zoom came about.

The concept is simple a Digg style environment where only blogger content can be submitted, where you can submit your own content and not get banned and finally there was some measure where once your post was submitted it could get good ranking in search engines to get the life residual traffic.

Blogging Zoom covers all this an more. Today is our forth day and currently we have 2,980 pages indexed, 812 blog content submissions and already are ranking in first place in some keywords in Google. If you consider that we have achieved more in four days than Digg did in there first month it shows you the path Blogging Zoom has taken.

WHAT TO EXPECT

After two days we started to notice a trend. Bloggers love to submit there articles and love to have people Zoom there stories but they sure do not like doing that for others.

I have found very amusing how some bloggers have complained that they submitted a story and yet have received any traffic( never mind Blogging Zoom has only existed for 4 days LOL ) yet when I look at there user they have not Zoomed or visited anybodies story at BZ. In other words they want what they will not give lol how ironic.

Now let’s be clear as a blogger you do not have to do this, you can just submit your story and that will be it. But at the same time you can not expect to have burst traffic if everybody else is doing exactly the same thing you are.

Now once we have built an authority with the keyword(s) in your submission, you will start to get organic traffic from this submission. How long will it takes depends on how long we take at Blogging Zoom to build enough authority to rank high for your niche.

The more submissions the more link building we at BZ do for you the higher each individual submission will rank in Google and the other search engines.

I like to look at Blogging Zoom as a Coop of Bloggers all working together to reach readers we would never had a chance if we all went our own separate ways.

In short we must spread the word and have more and more different bloggers knowing Blogging Zoom exist and that it exist to help him or her reach a broader audience.

Right now Court at wwww.courtneytuttle.com is adding everybody who does a review of Blogging Zoom to his list of BZ Reviews. I will also be doing the same so in short who ever does a review with links to Blogging Zoom you will be getting a PR4 and PR3 free link.

Come and visit BLOGGING ZOOM right now and sign up. Blogging Zoom will be the best source of information on the net in a really short time.

If you have linked to and reviewed BZ, please let me know. I’ve been linking to everyone that does it and will continue to do so.

  1. Thanks for the link back! I have enjoyed blogging zoom so far, and have found it relatively easy to get around. I am planning on doing another in depth review of it in the next week or so, once I get some traffic numbers in.

    Thanks for bloggingzoom.com!

  2. Elliott you are welcome. We are working hard to keep moving forward and soar like an eagle. We just need a bit of patience and coperation from the Bloggers.

  3. Where can I get the zoom icon you have next to this post ? tried to find it on the blogging zoom but no luck.

This link: “The Bookmarklet: BloggingZoom” does not work …

  4. f1wolf The Bookmarklet: BloggingZoom works fine this is what I use to make submissions from sites that do not have a Zoom button.

You can find the plugings at the BZ Blog.

  5. I appreciate the link back even though I never actually got around to telling you guys that I did a review of BloggingZoom. I guess that’s just another testimony to how on your toes you guys are.

Thanks for all the hard work you’re putting into it. I’m certain it’ll pay off in the long run. I’m a fan.

  6. Thank you Jason the fact that BZ has only existed for 9 days and we are at the same numbers that took Digg months to get makes us very exited. We hope this becomes the most helpful tool for Bloggers out there.

    Thank you for your support.

  7. Thanks for the link, but thank you even more for doing Blogging Zoom. I’ve never had so much fun as I have over the past few days (or had so much traffic). I wish it hadn’t taken me a few days to get started.

  8. Thanks for the mention. Actually, I already started to notice some traffic from BloggingZoom. Not too much, but it is a start. Question: Are the links from BloggingZoom counting for Google?

  9. I agree that we have to be proactive and build community, when we have time. But unless we give, we can’t get. I sent this comment to Courtney and sharing it here:

http://jennylens.com/bloggingz.....ey-tuttle. I am thrilled I subscribed to your blog and found out about bloggingzoom.com. It was my pleasure to write about it at:

I would make it the featured item, but this week is the opening of a rare photo exhibit to celebrate my inclusion in a major new punk rock photo book. I’ve worked long and hard for this, so my photo exhibit has to be the featured post this week. But next week, I’ll mention bloggingzoom.com again!

Thanks so much, Courtney and Vic. I can’t wait to work building community and post more stories. And not only watch, but participate in bloggingzoom.com’s success.
