SwypeFile.com RIP

I am not writing this short post to poke or make fun but to see if people could start becoming critical thinkers. When SwypeFile.com was launched you could see just few days later post after post on blogs on how this was the next greatest thing after slice bread, at the time I just laughed and started the timer when it would be shut down.

First lesson, people stop repeating the same thing everybody else writes. Be your own person do the research do not become a rubber stamp for some one else. You do not have to write about something just because everybody else is.

Lesson Two, Do not recommend something until you have made a proper assessment of it first. Because you will look stupid after the service you called the best thing after slice bread did not last a month.

When we decided to start Blogging Zoom we where not focused on one month we where ready for the long haul. We did not start on a shared host with a fresh install of Pligg. We have a huge financial investment already in Blogging Zoom many things in the works that you folks do not know yet, but my point is we where not expecting this quick growth and as such even if our number reflected like Digg which went down before they came to be what they are today we are here for the long haul.

My promise to all. You will not go to bed and when you go to Blogging Zoom in the morning find the following message.

Unfortunately, swypefile has been shut down for the time being. Things weren’t going as planned, and we are re-thinking the swypefile concept. Thanks to everyone who supported what we were trying to do!
