Mark Everson, president of the American Red Cross resigned today after only six months of being on the job. Mark Everson was found to have been having a personal relationship with a subordinate. Mark Everson of Red Cross immediately resigned himself willingly. He didn’t try to fight it or say hey I am innocent. For Mark Everson Red Cross career, this means looking for a new job I guess, and I am sure there aren’t a lot of people lined up to hire the man.
The board for Red Cross just concluded that this situation showed poor judgment on the part of Mark Everson and as they say diminished his ability to lead the organization in the future. Well thats a bit sad. I guess the statement holds true, don’t mix business and pleasure it can get you in some serious troubles. It sure did for Mark Emerson
