Ashley Papelbon Queen of Boston

Ashley Papelbon has to be just stoked. Ashley Papelbon is the wife of big leageur Jonathan Robert Papelbon born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana who is the closer for the Boston Red Sox. Ashley Papelbon has suddenly become one of the most notable names in Boston since her husband was part of the huge success of the Red Sox.



Ashley Papelbon had her husband fall into her arms after the last game where he just sucked everything in and Ashley Papelbon was there to give her support and love.

“I can’t believe it,” he said. “I can’t believe it. I cannot even believe it.” This is what he told Ashley Papelbon at the end.

After the Boston Red Sox clinched the American League East title in 2007, Papelbon celebrated the victory by Irish step dancing in the middle of the Fenway Park diamond to the Dropkick Murphys’ song “Shipping up to Boston”, which is played whenever he takes the field in Boston with Ashley Papelbon in the bleachers. Following the Red Sox American League Championship Series victory, he repeated his dance performance on the field with members of the Dropkicks


again to the happiness of Ashley Papelbon.

In Game 4 of the 2007 World Series, he entered in the 8th inning to shut down the Colorado Rockies comeback, and pitched until the 9th where he threw the game-winning strikeout for the Red Sox as they clinched the 2007 Championship.

So there is no doubt Ashley Papelbon might just be the Queen of Boston ;)
