Lil Wayne Arrested

Lil Wayne Arrested in Ada County is in jail, being held on a felony warrant out of Georgia. Ada County sheriff’s officials say Lil Wayne was arrested after performing in downtown Boise Friday night. Lil Wayne is being held on a felony fugitive to Idaho charge.

Jail deputies say they’ve been inundated with phone calls from fans and promoters since Lil Wayne’s arrest, wondering if he’ll be making his next tour dates. Lil Wayne isn’t eligible for bond, at least until Lil Wayne appears before a judge on Tuesday to formally face his charge.



Lil Wayne will be asked then if he plans to waive extradition to Georgia, where Lil Wayne faces a charge of possession of a controlled substance.
