Google Page Rank

Google Page Rank what can you say. For webmasters Google page rank is so important but yet it seems that Google is making Google Page Rank updates farther and farther apart.

Most users do not understand how important it is for a blogger Google’s page rank, this could sometimes make or break a blog. To use as an example Bu.bulicio.us has about 3500 unique visitors and 9500 page views a day, but yet Bu.bulicio.us has no page rank from Google because since the birth of our blog July 17, 2007, Google has not done a page rank update.

Now, even though we have incredible traffic for a site that does not have 3 months yet, we can not take advantage of some advertising venues because according to our Google page rank which is 0 we do not exist. So sometimes bloggers find them selfs between a rock and a hard place, we have achieved success with our blog but not the option to afford to keep the blog running because of the lack of advertising we are able to sell.

Google page rank is also used by some pay per post services to measure the blog for its advertisers once again because of the 0 page rank a blogger may only make $5.00 for a pay per post when a site that has half the traffic but has a Google page rank of 5 may end up getting paid for the same post $50.00 it is just frustrating, it is even worse with Alexa but I will leave that for another post.

My believe is since 90% of blogs do not have more than 10 unique hits a day Google has not made efforts to change there page ranking system to be more frequent, the stats say that it is almost impossible to achieve what Bu.bulicio.us has accomplished in less than 3 months, 374894 page views in a bit more than 2 months with a 0 Google page rank, the facts show that the Google page ranking system is just not setup to adjust for a success story like this.

With a 0 Google page rank or a 10 Google page rank, we would like to day that we have enjoyed writing our crazy articles for our readers and we hope to be around for a very long time.
