Ekaterina Gordeeva skates again in the Kristi Yamaguchi friends and family show. Ekaterina Gordeeva has been away from the skating scene for a while but has come back to skate again. Ekaterina Gordeeva is originally from Russia and is a former Soviet Olympic and World figure skating champion. Over the years Ekaterina Gordeeva has built up a very large fan base as she now currently lives in the US.

Ekaterina Gordeeva and Sergei Grinkov her partner have had a long relationship in skating and from an early age. After an accident that put Ekaterina Gordeeva in the hospital for a while she recovered and soon started dating her figure skating partner. Ekaterina Gordeeva and Sergei Grinkov went on to win some world championships together and will be remembered by many as an amazing pair of skaters. Now more recently, Ekaterina Gordeeva skates again as many remember the old times.
